UCI's WRITE AI Center to Enhance Writing Education with Generative AI

The University of California, Irvine (UCI) has launched the National Center for Writing Research to Improve Teaching Effectiveness with Generative AI, known as the WRITE AI Center, backed by a $10 million federal grant. This initiative aims to explore how generative AI can enhance writing instruction in higher education, particularly within community colleges.
